We write on behalf of UEFA, who own and/or controls all rights in the UEFA
Champions League
Logo Infringement
We have noticed that your Web Site http://www.footypunts.com/tips-euro.htm
is displaying the UEFA Champions League logo(s).
You may only use such marks for purely editorial use to illustrate news
articles where the marks are an integral physical part of a relevant
article and placed within the article. The marks must be accurately
presented in their entirety. The marks or portions or adaptations thereof
must not be used in any commercial context for instance adjacent to an
advertisement or other marks including your web site logo, or in
association with competitions, games, subscription services or e-commerce
of any kind. Your web site layout in relation to the marks must not imply
to any normal viewer of your web site any official connection between your
web site and UEFA.
We wish to make you aware that your present use is an infringement to
UEFA's rights. Please immediately cease all such infringements on any and
all of your web sites and confirm to us via email that you have done so.
Formal Declaration
I hereby state that UEFA are the owners of the exclusive rights to the
UEFA Champions League marks referenced above and that NetResult is
authorized to act on its behalf with respect to internet monitoring and
compliance.

Good Morning Phil.
Unfortunately you mistyped my email address in the first mail ...
I'm at Xtra.co.nz not Ztra.co.nz - it's important to it right if mail is to be delivered.
But adding the feedback@footypunts.com address was a good idea.
I'd be fascinated to find out what "further action" the mighty UEFA organisation
were going to take with Footypunts.com - there isn't much to us - three men and a beer fund ...
That's like using a sledgehammer to crack a peanut.
I'm surprised there is a problem, as footypunts.com is not commercial.
It's simply a fan betting site ... but I'll get the offending logo off today.
You can probably see that the page has not been updated for months anyway.
;-)

Absolutely pathetic UEFA ... concentrate on your core function ... administering football !!
The core of the matter is the sentence ...

Now if there is ANYONE out there that thought that footypunts.com is officially connected to
UEFA.Com because we had their football logo in the top right hand corner ... then ... they're NUTS !!
But it's easier to remove it than talk to these sorts of people - they have no real thinking - just the screwed logic that comes from lawyers and litigation. Mindless !!
How long will it be before we are not even allowed to use the words "Champions League" (TM) (R) (C) without a payment to the all mighty money collectors is Zurich ??
Logo removed. But you've lost yourself a fan here UEFA !!
